Helen Thomas Stolk, 93, of the 600 block of Summers Drive, died Sept. 27, 1994, in her residence.
Mrs. Stolk was born in Mathews County, Va., and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. She was the widow of Lewis Stolk.
Survivors include her first cousin, Frances Anderton of Mathews County; second cousins, Charles Ralph Anderton of Mathews County, Mary Joan Hurst of Newport News and Virginia S. Palmer of Virginia Beach; and very close friends, Marie Caffee and Russell Wright of Norfolk.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews County, by the Rev. Marshall Mauney. Burial will be in Providence Cemetery in Mathews County. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
