Earlene Barrett Armistead died Sept. 26, 1994, in a Brooklyn hospital.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon Armistead of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and Swafiya Armistead of New York; three sisters, Ruth E. Barrett of Brooklyn, Cora B. Parker of Hempstead, L.I., New York and Mildred B. Vaughan of Norfolk; a brother, Masco L. Barrett Sr. of Franklin, Va.; two grandchildren, Brandon Armistead of Myrtle Beach and Joseph James of South Carolina; nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Vaughan Funeral Home, Franklin, by the Rev. Goode. Burial will be in Mt. Sinia Cemetery, Suffolk. Family and friends will assemble at 402 Stonewall St., Franklin.
