Mary L. Williams, 72, of the 2100 block of Camden Ave., died Sept. 30, 1994, in Portsmouth General Hospital.
Mrs. Williams was born in Norfolk County. She retired from the Portsmouth School Board after 19 years, was a member of Fourth Baptist Church and usher and the widow of Edward Williams Sr.
Survivors include two daughters, Evelyn B. Jackson and Juanita W. Batten; a son, Terrance T. Williams; three sisters, Anna Bell Gregory, Bernice Smith and Willie Essie Marshall; two brothers, Clifton L. Jones and Thomas M. Dowdy; six grandchildren; and special friend, Raymonica Turner.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday at Fourth Baptist Church by the Rev. S.L. Scott. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
