WORTH DELOATCH

Worth Deloatch, 71, of the 3000 block of Peronne Ave., a retired truck driver, died Sept. 30, 1994, in Sentara Leigh Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Deloatch was born in Northampton County, N.C. He retired from the city of Norfolk after 40 years, was a former member of Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church in North Carolina, the widower of Elizabeth Deloatch and son of the late Inez M. Deloatch and Riddick Deloatch.

Survivors include four sisters, Willie Mae Peebles of Faison, N.C., Inez Majette and Eula Mae Everette, both of Conway, N.C., and Cora Lee Parker of Philadelphia, Pa.; two brothers, Rice Deloatch of Conway, N.C., and Milton Deloatch of Jackson, N.C.; three stepgrandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hale Funeral Home by the Rev. J.L. Kearney, Sr. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. The family will assemble at the residence, 3037 Peronne Ave.
