On Sept. 19, my parents mailed a ``certified'' letter from Philadelphia to me here in Virginia Beach. I received this letter on Sept. 23.
What is wrong with the Postal Service? Why did it take five days to receive a ``certified'' letter for which my parents paid $2.29? They had the correct address, city, state and zip code.
Our Postal Service is in a very sad state! I am thinking of mailing my Christmas cards next week. Maybe my family and friends will receive them by Christmas.
Better yet, maybe everyone should invest in a fax machine; letters would get through much faster and we could put the Postal Service out of business!
Shame, shame!
