The construction company will donate the amount of its project management fee. It is also looking for subcontractors to participate in the project. Construction is expected to begin next spring.

Sun Shine Trading & Transportation filed chapter 11 reorganization on Sept. 22, with assets of $683,001 and liabilities of $1,726,966.
Jesse Clayton Banks Jr. and Penny Lynn Banks, construction, filed chapter 7 liquidation on Sept. 28, with assets of $2,035 and liabilities of $27,787.12.
CONTRACTS
W.M. Jordan Co. Inc. in Newport News received a $11.5 million contract from the Navy to build bachelor enlisted quarters at the Naval Air Station in Norfolk.
Hampton Roads Mechanical Contractors in Chesapeake received a $751,711 contract from the Navy for maintenance of the steam, air, freshwater and saltwater distribution systems at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth.
Norfolk Dredging Co. in Chesapeake received a $1.5 million contract from the Navy for maintenance dredging at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth. MEMO: Digest reports news of record about businesses in Hampton Roads. Items
