Cora Frances Whitley, 79, of the 3500 block of Dunedin Drive, died Sunday, Oct. 2, 1994, in a Suffolk hospital.

Mrs. Whitley was a native of Martin County, N.C. She was the widow of Buck Godley.

Survivors include three daughters, Becky Albert of Chesapeake, Peggy Adams of Portsmouth and Viola Hill of Suffolk; four sons, Robert Godley of Virginia Beach, Buddy Godley of Jamesville, N.C., Jerry Godley of Williamston, N.C., and Johnny Godley of Pantego, N.C.; five sisters, Jamie Wilson and Beulah Jones of Georgia and Lillie Belle Gardner, Pattie Heath and Mary Roberson of North Carolina; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by the Rev. Garland Hines. The family will be at Sturtevant Funeral Home, Bennetts Creek Chapel, today from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.
