Glenn Earl Jodun Sr., 59, of the 5000 block of Godwin Blvd., a retired U.S. Navy chief, died Oct. 2, 1994, in Hampton Veterans Hospital.
Mr. Jodun was born in Lock Haven, Pa., and retired from the Navy in 1983 after 30 years of service. He was a veteran of Korea and Vietnam. He was the widower of Patsy Frank Jodun and was also preceded in death by his father, Earl Arlington Jodun.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Glenn E. Jodun Jr. and Paula Bennett Jodun of Suffolk; his mother, Vera Miller Jodun of Lock Haven; two sisters, Lorraine J. Croak of Lock Haven and Lois J. Jones of Williamsport, Pa.; two brothers, George Jodun of Bellefonte, Pa., and Joe Jodun of Lock Haven; and two grandsons, Glenn E. Jodun III and Paul Arlington Jodun, both of Suffolk.
A graveside service with military honors will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens by the Rev. R. Stewart McCarter. The family will receive friends at the residence and suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Chuckatuck Volunteer Fire Department, 5960 Godwin Blvd., Suffolk, Va. 23432. Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
