Virginia Parker Baines, 66, of the 1400 block of Deep Creek Blvd., died Oct. 3, 1994, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mrs. Baines was a native of Portsmouth. She was a member of Wayside Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Lee D. Baines; two daughters, Mary Lane of Olympia, Wash., and Susan Karczewski of Plantation, Fla.; a son, Benjamin Baines of Portsmouth; two sisters, Mary Kaufman of Cornelius, Ore., and Audrey Lamm of Portsmouth; and three grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Blvd. Chapel, by the Rev. Weaver Futrell. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today.
