WHY SHE'S A LIBERAL FOR ROBB

I have studied some history and know that when education was private only a few were educated. I support public education and believe educators need to control the school system. I am called a liberal.

Is it not strange that the man the conservatives claim they follow hears a different message from what I hear? What I hear is the message of love one another, feed the hungry, heal the sick, clothe the naked, do not love money. Because I truly care about people and their needs, I am called a liberal.

Because I am an environmentalist and believe the Earth is the Lord's, I am a liberal.

Is it not also strange that the group that claims to be against big government wants the government to have a say in the most private parts of a person's life - the bedroom, and between a woman and her doctor? Because I feel this way I am branded a liberal.

If guns made a place safe, then the United States would be the safest place on Earth. Believing in gun control, I am called a liberal.

The conservatives want their approved prayer invoked in schools. I want this choice left to myself. Because I believe in freedom of worship, I am a liberal.

Can anyone tell me what is wrong with wanting peace on Earth?

Stop. Look. Listen. The conservatives' ultimate goal is to take away all they can from the average man. First make him poor. The middle class is getting poorer.

We need to keep as senator someone from Virginia who will protect our basic rights. That's why I am supporting Charles Robb. The other major-party candidate scares me.
