A group of Vietnamese government officials toured the port of Hampton Roads on Friday. The Vietnamese were in the United States to attend a transportation workshop put on by the Economic Development Institute of the World Bank in Washington. They were shown around the general cargo terminals of the Virginia Port Authority and Norfolk Southern Corp.'s Lamberts coal terminal in Norfolk. The visit coincides with efforts by officials of the two nations to re-establish trade relations. by CNB
