Lawrence Weschler, a staff writer at The New Yorker magazine, will discuss ``Settling Accounts With the Prior Regime: The Paradoxes of Justice in Democratic Transitions'' at noon Oct. 12 at Christopher Newport University.
Weschler's new book, ``Calamities of Exile,'' is a nonfictional account of three expatriates - from Iraq, Czechoslovakia and South Africa.
