To read some of the letters critical of Oliver North, one would think that he is in the same league as Hitler, Stalin or Idi Amin.
Even though I was a Miller supporter, I know that Mr. North is far from the demon his detractors and the liberal media have made him out to be. I am for Mr. North primarily because our current senator is much too liberal for Virginia.
Chuck Robb is the only Southern senator - Republican or Democrat - to have voted for letting HIV-infected people immigrate to America. He is also the only Southern senator in favor of allowing open homosexuals to serve in the military. Time and time again, Mr. Robb votes more like a senator from Massachusetts than a representative from a conservative Southern state.
And let us not forget that Mr. Robb is far from being an angel himself.
Oliver North will fight the liberal socialist policies of the Clinton administration.
