Emma Sue Wood Holland, 82, of the 2500 block of Pruden Blvd., a homemaker, died Oct. 9, 1994, in Autumn Care of Suffolk.
Mrs. Holland was born in Nansemond County, Va. She was the daughter of the late Susie Byrd Wood and John T. Wood and was the widow of Jobie N. Holland. She was a member of Church of God, Suffolk.
Survivors include a daughter, Sue W. Powell of Suffolk; a son, Donald L. Wood of Suffolk; three nieces; and five nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in Holland Cemetery, Suffolk, by the Rev. Cecil B. Deel. The family will receive friends at the home of Sue Powell, 238 W. Liberty Spring Road, Suffolk, and suggests that memorial contributions may be made to the Nansemond-Suffolk Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 1515, Suffolk, Va. 23434. Sidney F. Harrell Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
