RODNEY D. NICHOLSON

Rodney ``Rod'' Dwight Nicholson, 33, died Sunday morning, Oct. 9, 1994, at his residence in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Nicholson was the son of the Rev. Coy and Alma Nicholson. Upon graduation from UNC-Chapel Hill, he moved to Norfolk, where he was an account executive with WNOR Radio-FM in Chesapeake.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Nicholson is survived by two sisters, Linda Jones of High Point, N.C., and Teresa Shaver of Bunn, N.C.; two brothers, Jim Nicholson of Independence, Va., and Dan Nicholson of Welcome, N.C.; and his companion, Tod Connell of Washington, D.C.

A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday in J.C. Green & Sons Chapel, Thomasville, N.C. Burial will be in Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.
