If Ollie North wins Virginia's Senate race, Bob Dole will gain a majority position in the Senate; and if those who downgrade President Clinton's performance continue to do so with their ``acid tongues,'' the nation's problems might never be solved.
Our two-party system is filled with bickering and mud-slinging. It is getting to the point where one party, with all members thereof working together minus the dissension which grows more and more with every issue brought before them, would solve our problems.
President Clinton is desperately trying to put us back on the right track. As former Republican Sen. Barry Goldwater stated in two recent newspaper articles, ``Give `the boy' a chance.'' He deserves it.
