Margaret Elinor Davis, 78, of the 3500 block of Dartmouth St., died Oct. 14, 1994.
Mrs. Davis was a native of Norfolk County. She was a retired switchboard operator for the Portsmouth Police Dept. Central Files and a retired school guard. She was the widow of Vernon Lynch Davis and was a Baptist.
Survivors include three sons, Jon W. Davis, Ronald Lee Davis and Herbert Dale Davis, all of Portsmouth; a sister, Bessie Ford of Chesapeake; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Olive Branch Cemetery by the Rev. Mark Karika and the Rev. Tom Potter. Loving Funeral Home, Churchland, is handling arrangements. Visitation will be at the residence of Ronald L. Davis, 3820 High St., Portsmouth.
