Betty ``BJ'' Hedgepeth Visor, 64, of 305 Circle Drive, Ahoskie, died Oct. 15, 1994, in Roanoke-Chowan Hospital.
She was a native of Southern Pines, N.C. She was the widow of the late Dr. Edward T. Visor who practiced in Ahoskie for 28 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Kathy Kalmbach of Raleigh, N.C., Linda Lee of Wilson, N.C.; a son, Paul Visor of Clinton, N.C.; one brother, John Mills Hedgepeth of Santa Barbara, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.
She was a graduate of Meredith College and had lived in Ahoskie for the past 38 years. She was a member of the Ahoskie United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for over 20 years. She was a member of the Administrative Board and past president of the Ahoskie United Methodist Women.
The family will receive friends at 305 Circle Drive, Ahoskie. Funeral services 11 a.m. Monday at Ahoskie United Methodist Church by Dr. Kenneth Hall. Burial in Ahoskie Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ahoskie United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 665, Ahoskie, N.C. 27910. Garrett Funeral Home of Ahoskie in charge of services.
