Virginia Pearl Graves Foreman, 102, of the 1100 block of Burksdale Road, a homemaker, died Oct. 14, 1994, in Norfolk.
She is the oldest living member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church that was consolidated from Denby Methodist and Brambleton Avenue Methodist Churches. She was a Ladies Bible Class member. Mrs. Foreman was past state counselor of Daughters of America, Great Bridge Council and had been a past officer in Rebekkah's. She is a charter member of Order of the Eastern Star, Norview Chapter 131 and received her 50-year pin on July 4, 1993. She was the widow of Thomas James Foreman, Sr., and was born in Norfolk.
Survivors include a son, Thomas J. Foreman, Jr. and wife, Marie, of Norfolk; one granddaughter, Eleanor Ruth Davis and husband, Dennis, of Norfolk; two great-granddaughters, Dale Marie McLaughlin and husband, Donald, of Chesapeake and Michelle Ann Davis of Aurora, Colo.; one great-grandson, Charles W. Miller III and wife, Sharon, of Chesapeake; and two great-great-grandchildren, Kelsea L.P. Miller of Chesapeake and Ryan C. Davis of Aurora, Colo.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Smith and Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park. Friends may join the family at the funeral home for visitation from 6 to 8 p.m. today and at the residence other times.
