VIOLET C. SPRUELL

Violet C. Spruell, 86, formerly of Norfolk, died Oct. 15, 1994, in Richmond.

Mrs. Spruell was born in Portsmouth. She retired from the city of Norfolk as a secretary in the city attorney's office. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church in Norfolk and the King's Daughters Circle and was the widow of William L. Spruell.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Vicki S. Crew and W. Randolph Crew; and two grandsons, Jason G. Crew and J. Bradford Crew, all of Richmond.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Mark Pullen. The family will be at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, from 2 to 5 p.m. today.
