Blanche Barnes Brown of the 800 block of W. 38th St., died Oct. 14, 1994.
Mrs. Brown was born in Newsoms, Va. She was a member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Brown Jr. of Norfolk; three sons, Russell Barnes Jr. of Virginia Beach, Harold J. Brown Jr. of Norfolk and Melvin S. Joyner of Portsmouth; a sister, Alma Darden of Norfolk; and a host of grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Antioch Missionary Baptist Church by Dr. I. Joseph Williams. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Gardens. The family will assemble at the residence. The body will be placed in church at 11 a.m. Monday. Graves Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
