CHARLES T. DICKSON

Major Charles Talbott Dickson, U.S.A.F. (Ret.), 77, of the 1300 block of Rolfe Lane, died Oct. 18, 1994, in a Virginia Beach nursing home.

Major Dickson was retired from the United States Air Force and was self-employed with the Dickson Realty Company. He was a native of Norfolk and the widower of Judy Ann Shiplet Dickson. He was a member of Galilee Episcopal Church in Virginia Beach, a volunteer for the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad for over 25 years, and was very active with Lee's Friends.

Survivors include a daughter, Stewart Dickson Logan of West Memphis, Ark.; one son, Richard Dickson III of Cary, N.C.; a sister, Anne D. Jordan of Virginia Beach; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Wingfield Day; two grandsons, Dickson Wheeler Logan and Kenji Brian Dickson; a great-granddaughter, Tara Elizabeth Day; and a great-grandson, James Francis Day IV.

A church service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in Galilee Episcopal Church by the Rev. John D. Burley. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Norfolk with military honors. The family will be at 1304 Rolfe Lane, Virginia Beach, Va. 23451. Memorial donations may be made to the Virginia Beach Rescue Squad. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apts. Laskin Road Chapel, is handling arrangements.
