Nancy S. Walters, 71, of the 2200 block of Tom's Lane in Smith's Beach, Eastville, died Oct. 18, 1994, in Nassawadox.
Mrs. Walters was born in White Cliff, Smith's Beach, and was retired as a telephone operator from C&P Telephone Co. after 20 years. She was a member of Holmes Presbyterian Church, Woman's Club of the Eastern Shore and Telephone Pioneers of America.
Survivors include her husband, Lee Julian; a daughter, Candace S. Nottingham of White Cliff, Smith's Beach; a son, Jeffrey T. Scott of Exmore; a sister, Catherine S. Bull of Eastville; a brother, Thomas H. Smith of Smith's Beach; five grandchildren, Lee Foster Nottingham III and April Leigh Nottingham, both of White Cliff, and Michael I. Scott, Lisa Parks and Robin Lawson, all of Exmore; and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday in the Smith Family Cemetery, Smith's Beach, by the Rev. Tony Dick. Friends may call at Fox & James Funeral Home, Eastville, from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
