NATHANIEL FLYTHE

Nathaniel ``Buddy'' Flythe, 79, of the 21400 block of N. Main St., a retired construction worker, died Oct. 20, 1994, in Southampton Memorial Hospital, Franklin.

Mr. Flythe was born in Southampton County and was a member of East End Apostolic Faith Church, Franklin.

Survivors include his wife, Bessie Phillips Flythe; a daughter, Roxie F. Ellsworth of Courtland; three sons, George Flythe, Calvin Flythe and Joseph Flythe, all of Courtland; two sisters, Mattie Rawlings and Mary Darden, both of Franklin; three brothers, Willie Flythe of Washington, D.C., Johnnie Flythe of New Jersey and David C. Flythe of Courtland; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a son-in-law; two daughters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday in East End Apostolic Faith Church, Franklin, by the Rev. S.D. Willis. Burial will be in Care Memorial Gardens, Courtland. Engram Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
