Beverly A. Dennard, 38, of the first block of Cavalier Court, died Oct. 19, 1994, in John Randolph Hospital, Hopewell.
Mrs. Dennard was born in Portsmouth. She was a member of Noble Street Baptist Church, Portsmouth, and a former member of the Young Adult Choir.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas A. Dennard; her parents, Julia Martin and Roy Martin, both of Portsmouth; five sisters, Army Pfc. Kim Martin of Fort Riley, Kan., Willesther Martin, Cassandra Martin, Cheryl Martin and Faith Martin, all of Portsmouth; paternal grandmother, Martha Cotton of Portsmouth; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
A funeral will be conducted at noon today in Noble Street Baptist Church by the Rev. Bernard Thomas. Burial will be in Olive Branch Cemetery. Viewing began at noon Friday in Corprew Funeral Home. The body will be taken to the church at 11 a.m. today.
