KITCH WILLINGHAM

Kitch Willingham of the 2800 block of Vincent Ave., a retired construction supervisor, died Oct. 21, 1994 in Sentara Leigh Hospital.

Mr. Willingham was born in Winnsboro, S.C. He retired from Tidewater Construction Co. after 40 years and was retired for 20 years. He was a devoted member of Bethel Baptist Church, member of its official board, and chairman of the male usher board for many years. He was a member of JP Carter Lodge (NU)195.

Survivors include a loving wife, Annie L. Willingham of the home; a daughter, Jacqulin Butler of Virginia Beach; a son, James Robinson of Norfolk; five sisters, Ella Lou Watts, Essie Lee McGraw, Lodesta Parnell, all of Winnsboro, S.C., Izetta Gripper of Detroit, Mich., and Emma B. Thompson of Bloomfield, Conn.; four brothers, George Willingham, AC Willingham, Wardell Willingham and James Banks, all of Detroit, Mich.; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives; one brother-in-law; and three sisters-in-law.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday at Bethel Baptist Church, Norfolk, by Dr. Jesse Arrington, Jr. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Riddick Funeral Service. The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
