Thomas W. Cullipher Sr., 77, of Spruce Street, a retired sheet metal mechanic, died Oct. 21, 1994, in Norfolk.
Mr. Cullipher was born in Norfolk. He retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard Shop 17 after 32 years and worked for 10 years at Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority. He was a member and deacon at Lafayette Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Georgianna T. Cullipher; a daughter, Sandra L. Cullipher of Norfolk; a son, Thomas W. Cullipher Jr.; a granddaughter, Sandra C. Cullipher; and a grandson, Thomas R. Cullipher, all of Charleston, S.C.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, by Pastor Max G. Culler. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will be at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the American Lung Association, 5439 E. Princess Anne Road, Norfolk, Va. 23510 or Union Mission, 130 Brooke Ave., Norfolk, Va. 23510.
