Joseph ``Joe Perry'' Perry Bazemore Sr., 90, of the 400 block of W. Church St., a retired farmer and auto salesman, died Oct. 22, 1994, in Guardian Care Nursing Home.
Mr. Bazemore was born in Bertie County, N.C. He had retired from Charles H. Jenkins Co. He was a member of Ahoskie First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Joseph Perry Bazemore Jr.
Survivors include his wife, Lina Jones Bazemore of Ahoskie; a daughter-in-law, Bernice Bazemore of Ahoskie; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. today in Garrett Funeral Home by Dr. Jesse J. Croom and the Rev. Robert May. Burial will be in Ahoskie Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Ahoskie First Baptist Church, Main Street, Ahoskie, N.C. 27910.
