Leathia Frances Rose, 75, of the 700 block of A Ave., a retired private duty nurse, died Oct. 22, 1994, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Mrs. Rose was born in Southampton County. She was the widow of James Rose and a member of St. Luke's Church, Drewryville, Va. She was also a member of the church's Usher Board. She was predeceased by her parents, Beatheye Reese and William Reese Sr.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Ervie Harold of Norfolk and Mrs. Addie Lena Powell of Portsmouth; and a brother, William Langston Reese Jr. of Sedley, Va.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Tabernacle Voice of Deliverance, Norfolk, by the Rev. Rudolph Tucker and the Rev. John Peet. Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery, Drewryville. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
