Ilene Muriel Molloy, 67, of the 3800 block of Winchester Drive, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 1994, in Portsmouth.
Mrs. Molloy was a native of Roanoke. She had retired from Cradock Presbyterian Church as a secretary after 35 years. She was also a member of the church. She was predeceased by her husband, James Rudolph Molloy, her parents, Charlie Hurt Milam and Kathleen Samuel Milam and a grandson, Hayes Redmon.
Survivors include two daughters, Betty Ann Mutter and husband, Alex F. of Portsmouth and Linda Molloy Hughes and husband, Grady W. of Kitty Hawk, N.C.; two sons, Charlie L. Redmon of Virginia Beach and J. Wayne Redmon of Portsmouth and a daughter-in-law, Mary C. Redmon of Suffolk; two sisters, Ina Mae Harmon and husband, Lee of Portsmouth and Elva Haythe and husband, Ted of San Diego, Calif.; a brother, C. Allen Milam and wife, Irene of Roanoke; seven grandchildren, Michael W. Redmon, Melinda Knill and husband, Pete, Wendy Redmon, Stephen J. Matousek, John R. Matousek, Holly Redmon and Charlie S. Redmon; and two great-grandsons, Sean and Patrick Knill.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday in Sturtevant Funeral Home, Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel, by the Rev. John N. Ashenfelder. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Cradock Presbyterian Church.
