Mrs. Maria Outland Bullock, 35, of the 4200 block of Quince Road, died Oct. 22, 1994, in DePaul Hospital, Norfolk.
Mrs. Bullock was born in Nansemond County. She was a 1978 graduate of Forest Glenn High School, Suffolk and a graduate of Keys Business College-Legal Secretary. She was employed at Joseph Smith Unlimited Law Firm, Newport News. She was an avid member of the National Secretary Association.
Survivors include her husband, Steven Wade Bullock of Portsmouth; her mother, Francis Outland of Middletown, Conn.; her father, Thomas Hall of Suffolk; four brothers, Lewis Outland of Suffolk, Craig Outland of Middletown, Conn., Dennis Outland and Kenney Outland of California; a maternal grandmother, Mrs. Hattie Outland of Middletown, Conn. and mother and father-in-law, Betty and Louis Bullock, both of Suffolk; and a host of friends and other relatives.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Canaan Baptist Church, Suffolk, by the Rev. Jesse Arrington. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Viewing of the body will be today from 3 to 8 p.m. The family will assemble at 1106 Truman Road, Suffolk, Va.
