Mrs. Margaret Shuford Triplett, age 80, died Sunday, Oct. 234, 1994, in Williamsburg Community Hospital.
Mrs. Triplett was a native of Caldwell County, N.C., and former resident of Norfolk for 13 years and a Barhamsville resident since 1964. Mrs. Triplett and her late husband, Tarrence ``TR'' Triplett were the original builders and manager of the Makeemie Woods Presbyterian Camp in Barhamsville from 1964 till their retirement in 1979. She was a member of the Oakdale Presbyterian Church in Norfolk.
Mrs. Triplett will be sadly missed by her children, Elizabeth R. Lenoir of Norfolk and Charlotte A. Pope and Phyllis Triplett, both of Barhamsville, Va.; her sons, Michael A. Triplett and Joseph D. Triplett, both of Barhamsville, Va.; sisters, Kathleen Stoker of Lenoir, N.C. and Mae Center of Long Beach, Calif.; brothers, Clyde H. Shuford of Big Creek, Ore., Frank Stewart Shuford and Albert Shuford, both of Lenoir, N.C.; also survived by three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, Oct. 24, 1994, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Bucktrout Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 1994, at 2 p.m. in Bucktrout Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Carol Bookwalter. Burial will follow in Tabernacle United Methodist Church Cemetery in Barhamsville. Contributions may be made to the James City Bruton Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 321, Toano, Va. 23168.
