Douglass Anthony Wakefield, 45, of the 3200 block of Saxon Place, a building maintenance manager, died Oct. 27, 1994, in his residence.
Mr. Wakefield was born in Norfolk. He was employed with Columbus One Center.
Survivors include his mother, Nina Douglass Wakefield, and his father, Dr. Olis M. Wakefield, of Virginia Beach; three sisters, Gail W. Tompkins and Jayme B. Wakefield, both of Virginia Beach and Ouida Sue Carrington of Guyton, Ga.; one niece; and three nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Maestas Funeral Home, Baltic Avenue Chapel, by the Rev. Gary A. Russell.
