Leola Carney White, 78, of the 2300 block of Piedmont Ave., died Oct. 28, 1994.
Mrs. White was born in Norfolk County, Va. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Vernon J. White; three sisters, Martha Vinson of Chesapeake, Pauline Carney of Newark, N.J., and Betty Carney of Dillard, S.C.; three brothers, Willie J. Morris of Baltimore, Md., Wilbert Carney of Newark, N.J., and Lloyd Carney of Chesapeake; one uncle, Arthur L. Turner of Portsmouth; and two aunts, Louise Stokes of Portsmouth and Annie Brown of Chesapeake.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Ebenezer Baptist Church by the Rev. Ben A. Beamer. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements. The family will be at the residence. The body will be in the church at 11 a.m.
