Hubert Lee Curtis Sr., 65, of the 3100 block of Westminster Ave., died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 1994, at his residence.
Mr. Curtis was born in Fuquay-Varina, N.C. He was retired from the City of Norfolk, Solid Waste Division, after 28 years.
Survivors include his wife, Catherine S. Curtis; three daughters, Blanche D. Mitchell and Iris C. Williams of Washington, D.C., and Barbara A. Dean of Norfolk; two sons, Hubert Lee Curtis Jr. of Tennessee and William David Curtis of Norfolk; and 11 grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday at Riddick Funeral Service by the Rev. Drexal Norman Mitchell. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Viewing will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday and also at 3114 Westminister Ave., Norfolk, the home of Charlie and Evelyn Spencer.
