Sylvia Ann Gray, 39, a teacher at Kempsville High School, died Nov. 2, 1994, in Norfolk.
She was born in San Antonio, Texas, and was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church. She was a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio and received her master's degree from Old Dominion University.
Survivors include two sons, Austin L. Gray and Houston L. Gray, both of Virginia Beach; her mother, Consuelo B. Fuentes and father, Max Fuentes, both of Dallas; a brother, Max Fuentes III of Dallas; and paternal grandmother, Marina V. Fuentes of San Antonio.
A funeral will be at 7 p.m. today in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. Burial will be in Grove Hill Memorial Park, Dallas. The family will greet friends following the services. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the Sylvia Gray Scholarship Fund, c/o Kempsville High School.
