Alice Katherine Hollifield, 77, of the 2100 block of Hedge Lawn Way, died Nov. 1, 1994, in Virginia Beach.
Mrs. Hollifield was born in Nelson County, Va., and was a Methodist. She was the retired owner of Yates Garden Beauty Salon in Alexandria, Va.
Survivors include a daughter, Bennie Lou Hollifield of Saloman Island, Md.; three sons, Howard E. Ragland, Mason Lee Ragland Jr. and Boyd Hollifield, all of Virginia Beach; her mother, Evelyn Lawhorn of Alexandria, Va.; three sisters, Hilda Hawes and Patricia Woodson, both of Alexandria, Va., and Dixie Cunningham of Woodbridge Va.; two brothers, Jr. Goolsby of Warrenton, Va., and Doug Goolsby of Nelson County, Va.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Kellum Funeral Home, Bonney Road Chapel, by the Rev. Warren Wilson. Burial will be in Princess Anne Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
