Gaye, who was shot in the head, was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, where he died the next day. Hodges, who was shot in the leg, has been released from the hospital.
On Tuesday, Gergory J. Smith, 18, of the 1400 block of Melon St. turned himself in to police in connection with the shooting, police spokesman Larry Hill said Wednesday.
Michael P. Sanders, 18, from the 2500 block of Jamaica Ave. and a 17-year-old from the 2500 block of Jamaica Ave. turned themselves in on Wednesday, Hill said. The 17-year-old was not identified because of his age.
