BENEFIT GOLF: The Salvation Army will receive about $2,000 from the first Night Light Golf Tournament at City Park.

Sean Bass and Clint Moody paired to win the championship flight with 33. Jim Krebs and Jack Brewer were runners-up, one shot back.

Randy Brown and Kevin Robertson captured the first flight with 39. Tommy Pittman and Sheila Pittman were runners-up.

The second flight went to Jim Cartwright and Dan Champion with 43, followed by John Kemp and Jacqueline Kemp.

The senior division winners were Mack McLean and Sonny Richardson with 36.

The mixed division went to Jim Pittman and Ambur Canada with 37. Tim Lyons and Rose Lyons were runners-up.

FISH BOWL: Tickets are now on sale at Arabia Temple No. 12 (731 Queen St.) for the 47th annual Fish Bowl, sponsored by the shrine.

Admission for the Nov. 12 game at Norfolk's Harbor Park between Winston-Salem State University and Virginia State University are $10 for adults and $6 for students.

Proceeds will benefit the Shrine Medical Health Research Foundation.

The football game will start at 1:30 p.m. The annual parade will be held in Portsmouth beginning at 10 a.m.

DUCKPIN TOURNEY: The first Portsmouth Match Game Duckpin Championship will start on Sunday at 5 p.m. at Victory Lanes. There are openings for five bowlers.

The second round will be on Nov. 13 at 5 p.m. There are 11 spots remaining in that field.

The 64-bowler tournament is scheduled to run through February.

There is a $5 registration fee. Each match has a $6 fee. There will be 16 prizes awarded, one for every four contestants.
