William Warren ``Greek'' Schmidt, 53, of the 1200 block of Sunset Drive, died Nov. 8, 1994, in a local hospital.
Mr. Schmidt was born in Portland, Ore. He was employed with the Naval Supply Center and was retired from the Navy after 27 years.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela D. Schmidt; three daughters, Michelle Anjal, Leah Payton and Charlene Schmidt, all of Norfolk; his mother, Mildred H. Schmidt of Portland, Ore.; a sister, Barbara Sanderson of Seattle, Wash.; a brother, Raymond Dahl of Sandy, Ore.; a grandson, Alec Anjal and a granddaughter, Shawna Payton, both of Norfolk.
A funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
