Ola Arvis Meadows, 84, died Thursday, Nov. 10, 1994.
Mrs. Meadows was a native and lifelong resident of Norfolk, but had resided in Mathews County for the past year and a half. She was a member of Westwood Hills Baptist Church in Kempsville.
She is survived by her husband, Don Meadows; a daughter, Sally L. Moore; son-in-law, Carlton L. Moore; two sisters, Betty Jean Winchester of Tampa, Fla.; Mary Widner of Chesapeake; three grandchildren, Jan Smith, Don M. Moore and Ben J. Moore; sister-in-law, Norma White of Chesapeake; and six great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Norfolk, with the Rev. B.G. Campbell officiating. The family will receive friends this evening from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home, Mathews. Memorials may be made to the Mathews Youth Center, FBLA Mathews High School, P.O. Box 38, Mathews, Va., 23109, in memory of Mrs. Meadows.
