William Graham Fields, 79, of the 300 block of Geranium Lane, died Nov. 10, 1994, in a hospital.
Mr. Fields was born to Mattie Ellen and John Amon Fields in Portsmouth. He retired after 31 years from the Naval Air Rework Facility as an aircraft metalsmith, also from the City of Norfolk.
He was a member of Local 39, International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. Mr. Fields was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church, Virginia Beach.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Marie; a sister, Elsie Allard and husband, Arthur, of Cape Charles; a brother, Howard James and wife, Tillie, of Portsmouth; a sister-in-law, Geraldine A. Howard and husband, Walter, of Moyock, N.C., and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Nov. 12, 1994 in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Chapel. Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association or Memorial United Methodist Church Memorial Fund.
