William C. ``Bud'' Green Jr., 80, of the 5100 block of Indian Trail, died Nov. 9, 1994, in Suffolk.
Mr. Green was born in Norfolk and retired as captain at the NOB Fire Department in 1974 after 31 years. He was also part owner of W.C. Green and Son Groceries in the Park Place section of Norfolk from 1933-1942. He was a member of Western Branch Baptist Church of Suffolk; Corinthian Masonic Lodge (NU)266, AF & AM; Scottish Rite of Norfolk; life member of Khedive Temple; and member of the Provost Unit of Khedive Temple.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Arnold Green; two sons, William Carroll Green III of Suffolk and Robert Elliott Green of Chesapeake; three grandchildren, Bryan E. Green of Leesburg, Va., Carole Green Fleming of Inwood, W.Va., and Laura Lynn Green of Suffolk; and seven great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Forest Lawn Cemetery by the Rev. Waverly Horne. Masonic rites will be accorded at graveside. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is handling arrangements.
