Lloyd Calvin Wiggins, 72, of the 300 block of Caren Drive, died Nov. 10, 1994, in his residence.
Mr. Wiggins was born in Charlotte, N.C. He retired from the U.S. Coast Guard as a chief telephone technician after 21 years and also retired as an electrical engineer from civil service after 20 years. He was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge and was a veteran of World War II and Korea.
Survivors include his wife, Mae Wiggins; two sons, Sonny Wiggins of Portsmouth and Roger Wiggins of Richmond; five sisters residing in Charlotte; four grandchildren, Chris, Matt, Sonny and Anthony Wiggins; and a great-grandson, Austin Wiggins.
A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel, by the Rev. Douglas Ross. Burial will be in Rosewood Memorial Park. The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Plaza Rescue Squad, Squad (NU)16, P.O. Box 2128, Virginia Beach, Va. 23450.
