Eunice Horton Brinkley, 86, of the 4700 block of Carolina Road, a homemaker, died Nov. 10, 1994, in Portsmouth.
Mrs. Brinkley was born in Nansemond County and was the widow of Elmer Carson Brinkley Sr. She was a member of Eureka Baptist Church in Corapeake, N.C., and the Ida K. Brinkley Sunday School class.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty B. Parks of Suffolk; two sons, Elmer C. Brinkley Jr. of Silver Spring, Md. and Mack F. Brinkley of Suffolk; two brothers, Surry Horton of Suffolk and Robbie Horton of Waverly; five grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Hill Funeral Home, Suffolk, by the Rev. Barrett Long. Burial will be in Eureka Baptist Church Cemetery, Corapeake. Friends may join the family at the funeral home from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today and other times at the home of Betty B. Parks, 4741 Carolina Road, Suffolk.
