TEACHER ARRESTED

A 25-year-old substitute teacher at Wilson High School has been arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated sexual battery after an investigation into allegations by a 14-year-old female student.

Darryl Lavon Williams was arrested at his residence in the 800 block of Nottingham Road shortly before 9 a.m. Wednesday.

The 14-year-old student alleged that Williams sexually assaulted her in his automobile, at his residence and on school property between Oct. 18 and Nov. 1 . The complaint was made on Nov. ILLUSTRATION: Photo
