Robert E. Hurdle, 82, of the 800 block of Court St., died Nov. 12, 1994, in Maryview Hospital.
Mr. Hurdle was born in Nansemond County, Va. He had retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard as a supervisor after 40 years. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and Mayflower Lodge of Masons 147.
Survivors include his wife, Jennie G. Hurdle; two daughters, Phyllis Bolden of Portsmouth and Anne Peguese of Philadelphia, Pa.; a sister, Phyllis Turner of Aliquippa, Pa.; grandchildren, Anthony Peguese, Vernard Peguese, Ali Peguese, Nancy Peguese, Richard A. Bolden Jr. and Phyllila Bolden; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The funeral will be conducted at noon Wednesday in Ebenezer Baptist Church by the Rev. Ben A. Beamer. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake. Fisher Funeral Home is handling arrangements. Family will be at 2400 Peach St.
