Kandi L. Kaliher, 36, of Lee's Summit, died of Hodgkins Disease Nov. 13, 1994, at home.
Her remains, except for her eyes, which were donated to an eye bank, were bequeathed to the University of Kansas Medical Center.
She was born in Jacksonville, N.C., and was a graduate of the University of Illinois Medical Center, Chicago. She was a pediatric registered nurse and a recent graduate of the Avila College Nursing Re-entry Program.
Survivors include a daughter, Megan M. Twait of the home; her parents, Vernon L. and Carol Brubaker Kaliher of Virginia Beach; and two sisters, Kathryn A. Reip of Burke, Va. and Kristi M. Challis of Independence, Mo.; and many cousins, aunts and uncles throughout the United States.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, at Lee's Summit United Methodist Church, where she was a member. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to Lee's Summit United Methodist Church, 2nd and Douglas, Lee's Summit, Mo. 64063, or VNA-Hospice, 527 W. 39th St., Kansas City, Mo. 64111.
