Virgie Grant Maxey, 87, of Norfolk and formerly of Roanoke, passed away Sunday, Nov. 13, 1994.
She was the widow of Lester G. Maxey and a member of the Belmont Baptist Church, Roanoke.
She is survived by a daughter, Patsy M. Osborne of Norfolk; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, Carson Grant of Vinton, Va.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sherwood Memorial Park by the Rev. Wayne Harrison. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, Vinton, Va. The family suggests that memorials be made to the Belmont Baptist Church Bus Fund, 825 Stewart Ave. S.E., Roanoke, Va. 24013.
