Morris L. Bridges, 62, of the 3200 block of Madden Terrace, a retired first sergeant, died Nov. 14, 1994, in a Portsmouth hospital.
Mr. Bridges, a native of Wake County, N.C., was retired from the U.S. Army after 20 years and was a veteran of Korea and Vietnam. He was also employed at NIT, Norfolk, and Virginia Bearings & Supply, Chesapeake.
Survivors include his wife, Inge P. Bridges; two sisters, Phyllis R. Bridges of Angier, N.C., and Violet Gardner of Raleigh, N.C.; and a brother, Leroy Bridges of Knightdale, N.C.
A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, Suffolk. The family will be at Loving Funeral Home, Churchland, from 7 to 8 p.m. today.
